Running Some Hills

It’s been wonderful to be back home in Missouri for a long summer vacation. I love the smell of sweet grass and love seeing the rolling hills covered with a mix of trees and pasture. With my race coming up in two months, I’ve got to be much more serious about running. Not only do I need to be putting in more miles but I’ve got to get in some elevation. I’m both looking forward to and dreading this time to do some hill workouts. Even though I’m gasping like a fish and sweating like a pig – at least I’m enjoying the scenery.
